Pom-corn Halloween recipe

Make your Heelerween celebrations fun with this popcorn recipe.

What you’ll need:

• Packet of white marshmallows
• Something to use as arms
• Packet of popcorn
• 1/4 cup of butter or margarine
• Black writing icing
• Something to use as eyes, like mints or chocolate drops (we used edible eyes)

Note: Make sure a grown up helps with small pieces, preparation and baking.

How to make them:

1. Pop the popcorn as per the instructions and set aside in the bowl
2. Melt butter in a large saucepan on a low heat
3. Stirring constantly, add marshmallows to cook until they’re completely melted and blended
4. Add the marshmallow mixture to the popcorn
5. Toss the mixture until the popcorn is evenly coated in the mixture
6. Shape into ten small balls with lightly greased hands
7. Place the arms either side of the balls
8. Place 2 eyes on each ball (you might need to use the icing to help them stick)
9. Use the icing to draw the nose and mouth
10. Find some ear shaped popcorn kernels to add to the top of your balls
