Bluey Family Trip – UK Prize Draw – (the “Competition”)

Terms and Conditions

  1. The BBC Code of Conduct (the “Code”) for competitions can be found at https://www.bbc.com/editorialguidelines/guidance/code-of-conduct  and all BBC Studios Distribution Limited (“BBCSD”) promotions comply with the Code.
  2. The Competition opens at 00:01am on 12th of August 2024 and closes at 11.59pm on 19th of August 2024 (“Closing Date”).
  3. The Competition is open to all residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of BBCSD, Element London Limited and Merlin Attractions Operations Limited, their subsidiaries, agencies, members of their families and anyone professionally associated with the Competition (“Entrants”).
  4. By entering the Competition, the Entrants agree:
    1. to be bound by these Terms and Conditions;
    2. that their surname and county of residence may be released if they win a prize;
    3. that should they win the Competition, their name and likeness may be used by BBCSD for pre-arranged promotional purposes.
  5. No purchase is necessary to enter.
  6.  After the Closing Date, 3 (three) winners will be selected based on the criteria set out in clause 12.
  7. Entrants should enter online by filling in the competition form at https://www.bluey.tv/bluey-family-trip-competition-uk/ prior to the Closing Date in order to enter the Competition. Emails or other forms of entry will not be accepted and entries received after the Closing Date, or incomplete entries, will not be eligible. Internet access is required to enter.
  8. Only 1 (one) entry will be permitted per person and bulk entries (meaning the use of any form of technology which allows multiple simultaneous entries) will not be permitted. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered for any technical or other reason. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be considered. Entries cannot be returned.
  9. Entrants’ data will be collected and used only for the purposes of administration of this competition. For more information on how BBCSD will use Entrants’ data, see the Privacy Notice.
  10. Entrants must supply to BBCSD their full name, email address and country.
  11. Where Entrants have provided consent, BBCSD may send Entrants marketing messages on a regular basis.  Entrants may unsubscribe from these at any time.
  12. The winning entrants will be the first 3 (five) entries drawn at random after the Closing Date. 
  13. There are 3 (three) prizes available (each a “Prize” and together the “Prizes”), with each Prize consisting of the following elements:   
    • • 1 (one) trip to Alton Towers Resort (including overnight stay at the CBeebies Land Hotel) redeemable between 31st August 2024 and 31st October 2024 only (specific dates subject to hotel availability) consisting of:
    • o 1 (one) night’s stay at the CBeebies Land Hotel (*excluding Bluey-themed room) (including buffet breakfast, free parking and chance to experience the Bluey Live Experience in CBeebies Land, including the opportunity to meet the Heeler family), based on 2 (two) adults and up to 2 (two) children under 16 years old sharing 1 (one) room
    • o 2 (two) day admission to Alton Towers Theme Park for 2 (two) adults and up to 2 (two) children under 16 years old
    • o 1 (one) day admission to Alton Towers Water Park for 2 (two) adults and up to 2 (two) children under 16 years old
    • o Free nine-hole round of Extraordinary Golf redeemable for 2 (two) adults and up to 2 (two) children under 16 years old
    • o Food allowance of £350 (three hundred and fifty pounds sterling)
    • o Travel allowance of £150 (one hundred and fifty pounds sterling)
    • Bluey Merchandise Bundle (consisting of: 1 x Bluey’s Beach Cabin Playset, 1 x Bluey’s Mini Heeler Home, 1 x Bluey & Friends Figurine Set, 1 x Bluey Giant Crayola Colouring Pad, 4 x Bluey Ear Headbands, 3 x Family Trip Bluey Activity Booklets, 3 x Bluey Postcards, 3 x Bluey Gousto Activity Sheets, 1 x Bluey Book and 1 x Bluey DVD)
  14. The winners will be notified by Element London Limited no later than 11.59pm on 21st August 2024 by email. If the winner(s) are unable to be contacted by 27th August 2024, BBCSD reserves the right to offer the Prize(s) to a runner-up/runners-up, or to re-offer the Prize(s) in any future BBCSD competition.
  15. On successful contact and confirmation with the winner Element London Limited will send the details of the Prizes (excluding the Bluey Merchandise Bundle which will be available at the CBeebies Land Hotel during each winning entrant’s stay) to the winners and/or runners-up to a designated email address, by email. BBCSD will not be liable for any disruption, delay, strike action or incorrect delivery by any postal or courier service or if incorrect details are provided.
  16. There is no cash alternative and the Prizes will not be transferable. The Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred. If a Prize must be taken on a specific date and the winner(s) is/are unable to attend on that day, BBCSD reserves the right to offer the Prizes to a runner up or to re-offer the Prizes in any future BBCSD promotion. BBCSD accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the Prizes not specifically included/ stated (including but not limited to travel insurance, spending money, any food or drink other than that explicitly listed in the prize description, or personal expenses). If any Prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, BBCSD reserves the right to substitute the Prize for another prize of equal or greater value.
  17. The name and county of residence of the winner(s) may be obtained by emailing crm@bbc.com within two months of the Closing Date.
  18. Any promotional activity or press release any winner makes in relation to the Competition must be pre-approved by BBCSD in writing.
  19. BBCSD excludes liability to the full extent permitted by law for any loss, damage or injury occurring to the participant arising from their entry into the Competition or occurring to the winner(s) arising from their acceptance of a prize.
  20. Entry into the Competition is acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  21. BBCSD reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions or to cancel, alter or amend the Competition or the Prizes at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, or if circumstances arise outside of its control.
  22. The Competition is subject to the laws of England and Wales.
